To the leader of the free of world : Barack Obama

A letter from a Palestinian Child to the US President

This is a letter from a Palestinian Child who does not have clear definition for terms like “terrorism” and “peace”.

I am sure the Palestinian children like Gamila, Louai and Samar have similar letters to President Obama.

Please spread this letter to president Obama.

This letter encouraged me to send a message to President Obama:

Dear President Obama as you are working to close the Guantanamo Bay detention camp ,I only ask you that the United States would stop exporting incendiary weapons to Israel like the DIME , I do not ask you to stop supporting Israel whether by money or by arms despite I know in this critical time in the American history each penny from the tax payers money the American citizen deserves now more than ever, more than Israel and more than Egypt and Pakistan.

President Obama you are father for two beautiful little girls and I believe you know how it feels when you know that your child is hurt, thousands of Palestinian children have been hurt by weapons like the DIME and WP in which former President Bush made sure to supply Israel with. You correct his mistakes , please correct this mistake

If you do this sir and order that no incendiary weapons will be exported to Israel because they use it against civilians ,then be sure sir that you won’t need thousands interviews like Al Arabiya to send a message to the Arab and Muslim world saying that the American people are not our enemy.

Mr.President you are not our enemy but all what we ask that you would be a fair friend to us as you are to the Israelis.

Dr. Abdel Wahab El-Messiri , a great thinker whom I doubt that a single post can give him the respect he deserves. This man is world known academically but I do not think that he was well publicly like Fukuyama , yeah I believe that he is like him and even better and greater. He died last Thursday after long time illness.

Dr. Abdel Wahab public fame came with the publishing of his controversial book/ encyclopedia that he spent 20 years in writing it “The encyclopedia of Jews,Judaism and Zionism”.

This encyclopedia caused him a lot fame and a lot trouble as we will see later

Dr. Abdel Wahab El-Messiri was born in 1938 in Damanhur , North Delta. He was graduated from Alexandria University in the faculty of Arts in the English section in year 1955. He travelled to the U.S in 1963 and took his master degree from Columbia University , then he took the PhD from Rutgers University in year 1969. When he turned to Egypt he began to teach in several universities like in Ain Shams in Cairo and king Soud in Saudi Arabia . He also

was a visiting professor in several Universities and academies like Nasser Military academy. From 1975 till 1979 he worked as the Cultural councillor for the Arab league delegation in the UN .

As I said the most famous work for Dr. Abdel Wahab was his controversial encyclopedia of Jews , Judaism and Zionism , the work that cost him 20 years from his life and also false of accusation of anti-Semitism and even sometimes his own personal safety. This book I believe is the most comprehensive encyclopedia written about Judaism and Zionism since I do not know when.

Already that some of you will think that because the author and researcher is a Muslim Egyptian ,he would be biased against the Jewish people , well think again because this encyclopedia is the most objective in my opinion about the Jews because he did not consider them the enemy. I mean you do not spend 20 years from your life writing such important reference in 8 big volumes with more than 3239 pages in an academic scientific way to promote a specific idea. Dr. Abdel Wahab wrote that book to find the truth and believe I read parts from this big reference I felt that this clear many myths about Jews , Judaism and Zionism . Every thing you can imagine about Jews is in this encyclopedia .

You want a proof , ok what about if I told you that he did not believe in the Protocols of elders of Zion” !!?? Dr. Abdel Wahab said in his book “The secret Hand : A Study in the violent and secret Jewish movements “ that it was based upon a brochure published in France in 1864 under the name of The Dialogue in Hell Between Machiavelli and

Montesquieu “You can read the original text whether in French or English here “

Dr. Abdel Wahab wrote also for Children nice Arabic stories. He began to write them in 1960s for his daughter.

He was a leftist still he defended Islam and Arab Nationalism like no other , in fact I believe he was more Islamist in his thinking in the last years.

Dr. Abdel Wahab was not only a researcher and expert in Israeli and Jewish stuff , he was also a great patriot man who fought dictatorship as much as he can.

He was from the people who stood against the regime in that last couple of year and when he died he was already the coordinator of Kafya , the famous Egyptian movement. It was enough to see him in the protests despite his old age and his illness. It was very sad scene to see the anti-riots officers surrounding him in the protests as if he were thug !!

This is a short bio for Dr. Al Messiri.

41 years had passed yesterday on the Six Days war which changed the face of the middle East till this moment. Most of the Arab world is still suffering from it except Egypt. Egypt made it and recovered from it somehow but not some how the Egyptian Regime did not learn from the mistakes of the past in order to aviod the defeat we suffered from. Our army is stronger than hopefully from that old one in 1967. But on the political level we are still suffering from the same old disase that caused the defeat which is false Idol.

Anyhow this year marks the 60 anniversiary of losing Palestine to Israel and the 41 anniversiary of its complete disappearance.

Yesterday was the 5th of June , this is a quite sad date for many Egyptians who losts their sons , husbands and brothers in the War , knowing nothing about their fate in what is known the famous the Egyptian POWs case.

Please remember on this hot day thousands of Egyptian young men who were protected by the international laws and treaties were killed by the IDF in Gaza and in Sinai in another holocaust the world would witness and be silent on it.

Our defeat was erased by our victory but our right is not completely restored .

All I am asking is that when you read a book about the Six Days war , please remember the Egyptian side of the story that it was a war without a fight thanks to a commandership in Cairo busy with its own struggle on power and rule , please remember that thousands were killed in War crimes , all what they did was that they were from the Egyptian army that should be destroyed.

A red rose on that day to all those great men who gave their lives to Egypt

Originally from the Seattle Times

As we rode the bus from Alexandria to Cairo on the last day of our tour,
Eman, the Egyptologist who had been with us for two weeks, asked us for
highlights.

One by one the answers came — Abu Simbel, the Unfinished Obelisk,
Alexandria's Catacombs, the Temple of Philae at night. None of us had been to
Egypt before; each of us was satiated to the point of sensory overload. My
husband simply said, "I can't choose just one thing; it was all wonderful."

When it was my turn, I was horrified to feel the emotion welling in my
throat. "The call to prayer," I blurted out.

Eman looked at me. "Did you say 'the call to prayer'? No one has ever said
that before." "Yes, I found it deeply moving ... " I answered, wondering myself
why I had said that.

The trip to Egypt was our first visit to a Muslim country. I had worried
about it before we left Seattle, wondering if — as an American — I would sense
hostility toward Westerners. Would I feel like a voyeur who's come to peer at
monuments and temples, then disappear after spending my tourist dollars? Would I
leave a negative imprint?

I knew I could be just an observer, because my Arabic understanding was
limited to reading numerals and speaking the pat phrases "Shukraan"
(thank you), "As-salaam alaykum" (a greeting), and my favourite,
because it was so melodic in Arabic, "Alhamdoolillah" (thanks be to
God).

Once we arrived in Egypt, I felt comfortable travelling its length, despite
(or maybe because of) its armed guards who accompanied us on our bus and the
visible presence of the tourist police force — men on camels, foot, horseback —
vigilantly watching for trouble.

Each day, Eman subtly reminded us of life's delicate balance with her
"Insha'Allah" (God willing), uttered whenever she referred to planned
activities. Every morning and always at noon (with three additional occasions —
afternoon, sunset and night), no matter where we were, the call to prayer
stopped me with its demand for conscious reflection, its appeal for perspective
and gratefulness. At home, I don't pray on a schedule; I have stepped away from
organized religion. But my psyche so yearns for life's spiritual dimension that
I continue to seek the connection. Having mundane activities interrupted with
the muezzin's audible cry to God was a showstopper for me.

Now, snuggled back into my Lake Forest Park home, I have had time to reflect
on how deeply our American Judeo-Christian roots are enmeshed with the tenets of
Islam. I cannot help thinking about Iraq, where the day also begins, is
interrupted, and ends with the call to prayer. It is a reminder of life's holy
rhythm, not a summons to brutality. What poor students of life we human beings
must be, to have failed so utterly to pay attention to the meaning of our own
rituals.

I found this through browsing the net , a lady from Seattle in the United
States shares its memories about Egypt please read it in the end

Some people in the world believe that our great pyramid in Giza along with our great monuments were not built by our great ancestors the ancient Egyptians , you know the infamous two alternative theories : They were built by Jews enslaved by the heartless Pharaohs or they were built by extraterrestrial civilization.

I am not going to waste my time and yours in debunking the X-Files theory because I think it is underestimating the human mind intelligence.

But I am going to discuss briefly the first theory , the most famous in the Zionist world , already I received a comment in an old post attacking us "the Egyptians" saying that our great symbol "the Pyramids" are not ours !!

Well here is my brief answer :

First of all Here is the Wikipedia page about The great Pyramid of Giza ,it includes enough information about the Pyramid for non experts , also it was made by non Egyptians and of course it is revised and updated according to the newest archeological findings about the Pyramid

Second from the official website of world Famous Dr. Zahi Hawas , his own article regarding the Builders of the Pyramids based upon archeological findings .

Third please use your logic here , the Pyramids of Giza were built in the Old Kingdom , Prophet Joseph ,his brothers and their tribes came and lived in Egypt in the middle Kingdom , Prophet Moses was in the new Kingdom , the slavery of Jews is believed to be during the Ramses II era "There is no archeological evidence ,it is based on religions interruption" , during that time the Jews and also the Egyptian Believers were enslaved to build the cities that glorified the name of Ramses , the alleged city the Jews built was in North Delta ,some believe it was in Sharqia , this city was drowned during the Nile Flood , you will not believe how many cities remains were found in that area in last years by the foreign archeological expeditions. The only pyramids that were built by Pharaohs in the new kingdom were by the 26th Dynasty aka the Nubian Pharaohs and they built them in North of Sudan.

Look I am not like Zahi Hawas who considers exodus was a fairy tale "It was not announced in Egypt for fear of religious reaction" ,I am a Muslim and I believe that Pharaoh of the Exodus regardless of who was ; was an infidel cursed dictator who is currently in hell , I feel ashamed from what had happened ,I am a Muslim and in the Quran the Exodus story was repeated over and over to remind people about how ignorant and arrogant a ruler can be , I believe in Quran and thus I know that the Pharaoh was wrong and the Jews were right and my only condolence is that time there were Egyptian believers like Wizards of the Pharaoh who believed in God and the great Egyptian Queen , the mother who adopted Moses and was crucified for her belief in God , the wife of the Pharaoh whose was mentioned in our Quran along with the Virgin Mary.

Still I am getting sick and tired from all that nonsense about the Pyramids and Jews , it is not about anti Semitic, it is about history and accuracy.

I am sorry but this is an Egyptian Pyramid was built by Egyptian hands , was planned by Egyptian minds and mostly important it is on Egyptian land

I hope that modest post here had debunked that infamous Zionist claim

First of all Happy Molud , today marks the Birthday of Prophet Mohammed
PBUH

The Holy Land by Princess Riam El-Fiasal

Second in this occasion I would like to share you with something related to
Islam and the myths about it ,the most universal myth spread in the world that
it forces people to embrace it.

My simple answer on that based on logic ,if Islam forces people to embrace it
how come there are still Christians,Jews and Zoroastrians in the Muslim World
till now , how come there are still temples and churches in the Muslim world.

Some wise people come and tell me your Quran says so and so , it is
contradicting itself

This myth is based on misunderstanding for verses in the Quran , Non Muslims
do not know that there are certain verses that were revealed in certain
occasions like during the wars between Prophet Mohammed "PBUH" and the tribes of
Mecca, also we should not forget that the Quran Arabic language is very
sophisticated ,western do not usual understand it and thus any

This is for Ashurah.

Already this is a very religious day for Muslims in general and Shiite Muslims especially as their mourning bloody celebrations steal the attention of the whole world.

This year I decided to share with you one of the legends ,the Egyptian native legends concerning the hero of the Ashurah day or the Karbala battle , El-Hussein, the Grand son of Prophet Mohammed "PBUH" . Egyptians are fond of the Prophet's family and consider that Egypt was honoured, blessed and protected by their existence in their land and surely it was and is . Already our affection to the members of the prophetic house made us the Shiite of Sunni especially with our great affection about Lady Zeinab and her brother Emam El-Hussein.

Emam El-Hussein's was killed in the battle of Karbala , he was beheaded in one of the most horrible crimes of the Islamic history that inspired poets ,novelists, authors and even rebels till now , the master of Martyrs in heavens if we speak from the religious point of view, the master of rebels if we speak from the political and social point of view.

Our legend will start with praises on Prophet Mohammed "PBUH" just like the old story tellers used to say before starting their stories in Cairo.

it started at the bloody end of Karballa battle when the head of El-Hussein's head was cut off of his body ,before the soldiers of Yazad I would go and grab it , the head suddenly flow away , crossing countries and seas to land in the lap of an Egyptian woman a peasant who knew whose head was it and decided to protect it in all possible and impossible ways especially she knew that the soldiers of Yazad through the spies knew where it had landed and it would be only matter of days and they would come to claim the head.

And they did come and she gave them a head ....but not the head they wanted ,it was another head .. The head of her own son the boy , she scarified her own son in order to save the head of Emam El-Hussein which she buried in front of her house and thus years later a great mosque and shrine were built upon and the area in front of the El-Hussein Mosque became known as "The Boy's mother" area

Already just for your information for real one of areas beside the El-Hussein Mosque is called "The Boy's mother"

Also The head of Emam "El-Hussein" is buried in the shrine in the famous mosque and it is actually there despite the claims recently that say otherwise , already the Head came to Egypt from Ashkelon and was received in a very big reception by the Egyptian people and that was chronicled by many historians like Al-Maqrizi.

Another much vital important evidence that there is a head actually buried in the Shrine is that in 1920s a similar debate was raised and added to it there were restoration works in the huge mosque , a famous Egyptian archeologist whom I can't remember his name opened the shrine and tomb and found the head wrapped in Green cloth "A sign of holiness" , he opened the cloth and saw the skull by his own eyes. It can't be any other proof so please stop saying that the head is not buried in Egypt or it returned to Iraq because sometimes I feel that these claims want to strip Egypt from every thing Muslim. And unfortunately these claims are supported by many people whether from outside Egypt or inside Egypt from seculars, communists and above them the new wave of Wahabis.

I do not deny that there are false Islamic shrines in Egypt but also the whole Sham area of Syria ,Lebanon and Palestine is full of false shrines too. And I do not deny that there are wrong practices that should be stopped regarding how people see these shrines but please leave them alone do not try to erase every thing beautiful in this country and every thing makes it special

Today is the first day in the Islamic lunar Hagri year 1429

In that occasion I would like to share with you this video clip for the North of Turkey ,where a litte girl "Miltum" 6 years old tries to read Soraat "Yassin" from the Holy Quran by herself but fails and tries again over and over . She looks so sweet and cute , the young boy beside her is her brother "Salih" 5 years old

I read this wonderful post for Miss Scotch about her experience in the city of thousand Minarets and the daughter of Al-Muizz Lideenillah a.k.a Cairo

And I remember this wonderful oldies Anglo-Arab song which was a hit in 1960s and 1970s "Take me back to Cairo".
This song was like the national anthem for all those Egyptians who left Egypt and immigrated in 1960s and 1970s and It is a rare song ,already I found the original one by accident as there were two versions of it one in 1960s and one in 1980s by another singer Samir El-Eskandarani , the one I found by accident was the Original 1960s sang by Karim Shukary who is living currently in Canada
I do not know who wrote the lyrics but the music was for the famous Andrea Ryder ,the Yugoslavian music composer who made wonderful music during his stay in Egypt "one of the few benefits we took from the U.S.S.R back then"
I will stop talking and leave you with it
