Dr. Abdel Wahab El-Messiri , a great thinker whom I doubt that a single post can give him the respect he deserves. This man is world known academically but I do not think that he was well publicly like Fukuyama , yeah I believe that he is like him and even better and greater. He died last Thursday after long time illness.
Dr. Abdel Wahab public fame came with the publishing of his controversial book/ encyclopedia that he spent 20 years in writing it “The encyclopedia of Jews,Judaism and Zionism”.
This encyclopedia caused him a lot fame and a lot trouble as we will see later
Dr. Abdel Wahab El-Messiri was born in 1938 in Damanhur , North Delta. He was graduated from Alexandria University in the faculty of Arts in the English section in year 1955. He travelled to the U.S in 1963 and took his master degree from Columbia University , then he took the PhD from Rutgers University in year 1969. When he turned to Egypt he began to teach in several universities like in Ain Shams in Cairo and king Soud in Saudi Arabia . He also
was a visiting professor in several Universities and academies like Nasser Military academy. From 1975 till 1979 he worked as the Cultural councillor for the Arab league delegation in the UN .
As I said the most famous work for Dr. Abdel Wahab was his controversial encyclopedia of Jews , Judaism and Zionism , the work that cost him 20 years from his life and also false of accusation of anti-Semitism and even sometimes his own personal safety. This book I believe is the most comprehensive encyclopedia written about Judaism and Zionism since I do not know when.
Already that some of you will think that because the author and researcher is a Muslim Egyptian ,he would be biased against the Jewish people , well think again because this encyclopedia is the most objective in my opinion about the Jews because he did not consider them the enemy. I mean you do not spend 20 years from your life writing such important reference in 8 big volumes with more than 3239 pages in an academic scientific way to promote a specific idea. Dr. Abdel Wahab wrote that book to find the truth and believe I read parts from this big reference I felt that this clear many myths about Jews , Judaism and Zionism . Every thing you can imagine about Jews is in this encyclopedia .
You want a proof , ok what about if I told you that he did not believe in the Protocols of elders of Zion” !!?? Dr. Abdel Wahab said in his book “The secret Hand : A Study in the violent and secret Jewish movements “ that it was based upon a brochure published in France in 1864 under the name of The Dialogue in Hell Between Machiavelli and
Montesquieu “You can read the original text whether in French or English here “
Dr. Abdel Wahab wrote also for Children nice Arabic stories. He began to write them in 1960s for his daughter.
He was a leftist still he defended Islam and Arab Nationalism like no other , in fact I believe he was more Islamist in his thinking in the last years.
Dr. Abdel Wahab was not only a researcher and expert in Israeli and Jewish stuff , he was also a great patriot man who fought dictatorship as much as he can.
He was from the people who stood against the regime in that last couple of year and when he died he was already the coordinator of Kafya , the famous Egyptian movement. It was enough to see him in the protests despite his old age and his illness. It was very sad scene to see the anti-riots officers surrounding him in the protests as if he were thug !!
This is a short bio for Dr. Al Messiri.
Here are something interesting short facts about him :
- He hates Barbie dolls and love chubby childish cotton dolls.
- The state refused to treat him on the expenses of the state in the U.S and he was treated on a Saudi Prince Expenses !!??
- He died at 5 AM Cairo local in Cairo at “Palestine Hospital”
I want to say in the end something that a person can die but his thoughts can live forever

41 years had passed yesterday on the Six Days war which changed the face of the middle East till this moment. Most of the Arab world is still suffering from it except Egypt. Egypt made it and recovered from it somehow but not some how the Egyptian Regime did not learn from the mistakes of the past in order to aviod the defeat we suffered from. Our army is stronger than hopefully from that old one in 1967. But on the political level we are still suffering from the same old disase that caused the defeat which is false Idol.
Anyhow this year marks the 60 anniversiary of losing Palestine to Israel and the 41 anniversiary of its complete disappearance.
Yesterday was the 5th of June , this is a quite sad date for many Egyptians who losts their sons , husbands and brothers in the War , knowing nothing about their fate in what is known the famous the Egyptian POWs case.
Please remember on this hot day thousands of Egyptian young men who were protected by the international laws and treaties were killed by the IDF in Gaza and in Sinai in another holocaust the world would witness and be silent on it.
Our defeat was erased by our victory but our right is not completely restored .
All I am asking is that when you read a book about the Six Days war , please remember the Egyptian side of the story that it was a war without a fight thanks to a commandership in Cairo busy with its own struggle on power and rule , please remember that thousands were killed in War crimes , all what they did was that they were from the Egyptian army that should be destroyed.
A red rose on that day to all those great men who gave their lives to Egypt
Originally from the Seattle Times
As we rode the bus from Alexandria to Cairo on the last day of our tour, Eman, the Egyptologist who had been with us for two weeks, asked us for highlights.
One by one the answers came — Abu Simbel, the Unfinished Obelisk, Alexandria's Catacombs, the Temple of Philae at night. None of us had been to Egypt before; each of us was satiated to the point of sensory overload. My husband simply said, "I can't choose just one thing; it was all wonderful."
When it was my turn, I was horrified to feel the emotion welling in my throat. "The call to prayer," I blurted out.
Eman looked at me. "Did you say 'the call to prayer'? No one has ever said that before." "Yes, I found it deeply moving ... " I answered, wondering myself why I had said that.
The trip to Egypt was our first visit to a Muslim country. I had worried about it before we left Seattle, wondering if — as an American — I would sense hostility toward Westerners. Would I feel like a voyeur who's come to peer at monuments and temples, then disappear after spending my tourist dollars? Would I leave a negative imprint?
I knew I could be just an observer, because my Arabic understanding was limited to reading numerals and speaking the pat phrases "Shukraan" (thank you), "As-salaam alaykum" (a greeting), and my favourite, because it was so melodic in Arabic, "Alhamdoolillah" (thanks be to God).
Once we arrived in Egypt, I felt comfortable travelling its length, despite (or maybe because of) its armed guards who accompanied us on our bus and the visible presence of the tourist police force — men on camels, foot, horseback — vigilantly watching for trouble.
Each day, Eman subtly reminded us of life's delicate balance with her "Insha'Allah" (God willing), uttered whenever she referred to planned activities. Every morning and always at noon (with three additional occasions — afternoon, sunset and night), no matter where we were, the call to prayer stopped me with its demand for conscious reflection, its appeal for perspective and gratefulness. At home, I don't pray on a schedule; I have stepped away from organized religion. But my psyche so yearns for life's spiritual dimension that I continue to seek the connection. Having mundane activities interrupted with the muezzin's audible cry to God was a showstopper for me.
Now, snuggled back into my Lake Forest Park home, I have had time to reflect on how deeply our American Judeo-Christian roots are enmeshed with the tenets of Islam. I cannot help thinking about Iraq, where the day also begins, is interrupted, and ends with the call to prayer. It is a reminder of life's holy rhythm, not a summons to brutality. What poor students of life we human beings must be, to have failed so utterly to pay attention to the meaning of our own rituals.
I found this through browsing the net , a lady from Seattle in the United States shares its memories about Egypt please read it in the end
Some people in the world believe that our great pyramid in Giza along with our great monuments were not built by our great ancestors the ancient Egyptians , you know the infamous two alternative theories : They were built by Jews enslaved by the heartless Pharaohs or they were built by extraterrestrial civilization.
I am not going to waste my time and yours in debunking the X-Files theory because I think it is underestimating the human mind intelligence.
But I am going to discuss briefly the first theory , the most famous in the Zionist world , already I received a comment in an old post attacking us "the Egyptians" saying that our great symbol "the Pyramids" are not ours !!
Well here is my brief answer :
First of all Here is the Wikipedia page about The great Pyramid of Giza ,it includes enough information about the Pyramid for non experts , also it was made by non Egyptians and of course it is revised and updated according to the newest archeological findings about the Pyramid
Second from the official website of world Famous Dr. Zahi Hawas , his own article regarding the Builders of the Pyramids based upon archeological findings .
Third please use your logic here , the Pyramids of Giza were built in the Old Kingdom , Prophet Joseph ,his brothers and their tribes came and lived in Egypt in the middle Kingdom , Prophet Moses was in the new Kingdom , the slavery of Jews is believed to be during the Ramses II era "There is no archeological evidence ,it is based on religions interruption" , during that time the Jews and also the Egyptian Believers were enslaved to build the cities that glorified the name of Ramses , the alleged city the Jews built was in North Delta ,some believe it was in Sharqia , this city was drowned during the Nile Flood , you will not believe how many cities remains were found in that area in last years by the foreign archeological expeditions. The only pyramids that were built by Pharaohs in the new kingdom were by the 26th Dynasty aka the Nubian Pharaohs and they built them in North of Sudan.
Look I am not like Zahi Hawas who considers exodus was a fairy tale "It was not announced in Egypt for fear of religious reaction" ,I am a Muslim and I believe that Pharaoh of the Exodus regardless of who was ; was an infidel cursed dictator who is currently in hell , I feel ashamed from what had happened ,I am a Muslim and in the Quran the Exodus story was repeated over and over to remind people about how ignorant and arrogant a ruler can be , I believe in Quran and thus I know that the Pharaoh was wrong and the Jews were right and my only condolence is that time there were Egyptian believers like Wizards of the Pharaoh who believed in God and the great Egyptian Queen , the mother who adopted Moses and was crucified for her belief in God , the wife of the Pharaoh whose was mentioned in our Quran along with the Virgin Mary.
Still I am getting sick and tired from all that nonsense about the Pyramids and Jews , it is not about anti Semitic, it is about history and accuracy.
I am sorry but this is an Egyptian Pyramid was built by Egyptian hands , was planned by Egyptian minds and mostly important it is on Egyptian land
I hope that modest post here had debunked that infamous Zionist claim
I read this wonderful post for Miss Scotch about her experience in the city of thousand Minarets and the daughter of Al-Muizz Lideenillah a.k.a Cairo
And I remember this wonderful oldies Anglo-Arab song which was a hit in 1960s and 1970s "Take me back to Cairo".
This song was like the national anthem for all those Egyptians who left Egypt and immigrated in 1960s and 1970s and It is a rare song ,already I found the original one by accident as there were two versions of it one in 1960s and one in 1980s by another singer Samir El-Eskandarani , the one I found by accident was the Original 1960s sang by Karim Shukary who is living currently in Canada
I do not know who wrote the lyrics but the music was for the famous Andrea Ryder ,the Yugoslavian music composer who made wonderful music during his stay in Egypt "one of the few benefits we took from the U.S.S.R back then"
I will stop talking and leave you with it
Merry Christmas to all the Egyptian Orthodox Christians all over the world.
The 7th of January became a national day in Egypt both Christians and Muslims take it as day off according to one of Mubarak's fewest wisest decision he had ever taken
In the occasion I would like to share with you some shots I took from the Saint Constantine Church in Cairo , I was invited last month to attend the wedding ceremony of my neighbour and my childhood Friend.
It is an Orthodox church ,its style of building reminds with the Byzantine style, I wanted to take more photos but I could not because there was a wedding
Through my early reading I always considered him an educated womanizer of his time working in the most prestigious and important places and positions in Egypt during the 1940s but when I began to watch the TV Series "King Farouk" on MBC this Ramadan I rediscovered that man in the same way he discovered the deserts of Egypt ,already he was my true discovery ,not King Farouk because already I know the reality of young King from a long time but I did not know who Ahmed Pasha Hassanein was except through that Series , sorry it made me want to discover that man
The Ladies Man .The Men's Man .The man of all town
Ahmed Pasha Hassanein was underestimated early in the history of Egypt regarding him only as the Chief of the
Royal Diwan and the Chamberlain of King Farouk who used to be womanizer ,allegedly married to his mother Queen Nazli and had an affair with Princess and Singer Asmahan "Amal Al-Atrash" and I think the revolution did not cause that underestimation ,already the man was killed in a terrible car accident that raised question marks in 1946 and he was hated by many politicians in that time not to mention some people said that the King did not like the relationship between his mother and his chief of Diwan who was his special tutor in London
This was the general idea I had for him before yet after watching the TV series and searching for more information about this man online and offline I found out the Egypt's earliest explorer was the most influential man in Egypt in 1940s , a politician for the first degree and the most trusted and influential person for Farouk.
That Man despite his claim that he did not understand anything in Politics proved to be a master in the political arena in front of huge gladiator from the weight of Mustafa Pasha El-Nahas and Ahmed Pasha Maher , yes he was not as
powerful and dangerous as Ali Pasha Maher but we should not forget that when Ali Pasha Maher was in his exile in Egypt during the WWII for being a Nazi ally ,Hassanein played a great role in saving both the King throne and the country in the famous crisis of 4th of February as Young King Farouk was going to sign the abdication document in order to the Save the Egyptian people with no fight yet clever Hasseinein saved the day ,if Farouk had signed that document , the British Commissioner Sir Miles Lampson would have chosen Prince Mohamed Ali who was a puppet in the hand of the British instead of him.
Hassanein was an extraordinary man ,it is rare to find a man who understands in culture ,in politics and in society in that way . You will be amazed already if you check his background , his grandfather was the last admiral for the Egyptian fleet in 18th century when the British invaded Egypt , his father was a Sheikh in Al-Azhar , he was born on the 31st of October 1889 in Boulaq which is a very popular area even till now , he started his education in Al-Azhar then he completed his education in Oxford University ,he was a champion in Fencing that he represented Oxford University once and Egypt twice in two Olympics in ,
when he returned to Egypt , he returned as a young explorer who went in exploration the Egyptian Western and Libyan desert in a time that where there were no GPRS or satellites phones or laptops or Jeep cars , no ,it takes a lot of courage even now to go to the middle of the desert. Hassanein Pasha was an Egyptian legend in exploration ,
already he was the first to write to the National geographic society in year 1923 , he also wrote a book about his explorations in the desert in the book " The lost Oases" which was translated in to Arabic,French and German. in That book Hassanein Pasha shared in a very attractive way his journey for 8 month trip full of perils on a camel from Egypt's Mediterranean coast west of Marsa Matrouh, heading for the oases of Siwa and Kufra and into the unknown reaches of the Libyan Desert. His perilous eight-month journey in 1923 took him around the western edges of the Great Sand Sea to El Obeid in the Sudan, a distance of 2200 miles, and lead him to the discovery of the lost oases of Arkenu and Uweinat at the extreme southwest corner of Egypt.Yes he was the first one to discover the Uweinat Oasis where he discovered rock drawings of animals, including lions, giraffes, ostriches, and gazelles. He was deep in the trackless desert, but what he had found was evidence of a flourishing human existence ten thousand years ago, and proof that the Sahara was once green, people we are talking here as I said in year 1923 ,the wonderful thing in that book was that Hassanein was also one hell of a photographer who documented his discoveries with photographs and illustrations .
He wrote an article to the National geographic in September 1924 about his discoveries with photographs , you can check it here
If you are no amazed yet wait and you will be amazed by this multi-talented man whom in 1930 tried to fly solo from London to Cairo yet unfortunately the plan was smashed in Pisa ,he was quite an adventurous
Despite his claim that he did not understand politics at all he worked in it since day one as He started his career as the Arab Secretary to the British Commanding Officer General Maxwell during the Great War 1914-1918 , he received the MBE for his valuable efforts for the diplomatic bridge he created between Britain and Egypt in 1927 yet that does not mean he was a traitor working for the invaders sake on the contrary ,years later Hassanein was the worst nightmare the British Commissioner had faced in his working years he worked also as the first secretary of Seif Allah
Yusri Pasha our first Ambassador to the United States. Then he returned to Egypt to work as an advisor to King Fouad and then a Chamberlain to the lands of Queen Nazli, after the most important phase in his life from my point of view started when he was sent with crown Farouk "16 yrs" to London as Tutor and there in those couple of years he formed a special bond with Future King Farouk ,I guess no one had it , he was more like father to the young man who suffered from a very lonely strict childhood ,yes he made mistakes in London but on the other hand he won the trust of the rebel teenager.Hassanein later became the head of the Royal Diwan , which is like the office of the President Now. Through his work as in the Royal Diwan he was the closet one to Farouk and he proved that as an advisor he was not looking for his interest but the country's and the King's Interests , it is enough to know that Sir Ahmed Hassanein Pasha was not that rich ,I mean the man did not use his position for profit and surely he did not have friends like Mamdouh Ismail and the whale of Nasr city "I am speaking the current Head of the President's Diwan"
In 1926 he married the Ambassador daughter Princess Latifa whose mother Princess Shivakiar ,yet the marriage did
not last thanks to his relationship with Queen Nazli who many said that he married secretly for couple of years from 1943 to 1946 ,during that time it was said that he was in love with Singer and Princess Amal Al-Atrash aka Asmahan , to tell you the truth no body knows whom he real loved from those ladies but I think he married Nazli only to keep her from scandals ,Nazli was mad about him and could not accept the truth that she was just a fling for him , in revenge she acted in a way that threatened her son's throne who was mad to see his mother setting in her Royal Suite with him at night where he was wearing his pajamas teaching her how to read the holy Quran "1" !!
His death proved to be tragic from all ways , it was the start of the down fall of Farouk , he died in Car accident by British military vehicle near Qasr El Nil Bridge in Cairo on 19th of February1946 , Queen Nazli went Crazy and thought that her son was behind it where as her son began his true fast trip to downfall , it started with the divorce of Farida in 1948 despite Hassanein's warnings , then the defeat of 1948 then the clashes with the Wafad cabinet ,the successive weak minority cabinets and the mother of all scandals and disasters The escape of Nazli and her daughter Fatahiah who married the Christian Riyad Ghali ,I think if he were alive things would be different but what can we say Fate is fate
By the way he was buried in a very elegant mausoleum across the Salah Salem road from the new seat of the Al-Azhar Imam if you are used to pass by Salah Sallam road every day you may recognize it ,here it is
By the way do you know how designed that Mausoleum ??
Legendary Egyptian Architect Hassan Fathy who was Ahmed's brother-in-law by marriage of his sister Aziza Hassanein. That man does not stop surprising you even in his death ,if you go there or pass by it please remember to read Fataha
By the way he had 4 children from Princess Latifa : 2 boys "One of them called Tarek and he died from some time" and 2 girls ,his grand daughter is called Ayaat Mahmoud
Why did I write this post about that man ?? well beside my admiration of his personality ,I love the fact that he was 100% Egyptian man raised in Boulaq and according to many he was down to earth
By the way do you know what is the secret of that man??
I think it has to do with his horoscope Sign ,Ahmed Pasha Hassanein was living example on dangerous, adventurous, diplomat and charming characteristic of the Scorpios

Now this is the second part about the Free man General Mohamed Naguib, it is not longer like the first part by the way
President Naguib was an exile inside in his own country; he even heard his own death news in the international radio stations based on a reliable source in Cairo in 1966, his sons and wife paid the price, the price of reminding the people with Naguib
His wife died and Nasser did not let him to attend his funeral, do you know that??
Do you know how tough it is to see your sons get killed and humiliated because of you!!??
In 1968 his second son Ali was killed in Germany, he was the head of the Arab students union and activist for the Arab causes, in one night he was found killed after being beaten to death, his body came to Cairo and buried yet his own father did not say good bye to him or even they let just visit at night his son tomb so he can read the Fatah on his soul ,Ali was used to be called {the Cowboy} by his father “The General blamed Nasser and accused his intelligence to be behind the case”
Next year news came to the General in his home exile; his elder son Farouk entered the jail along with other political prisoners, the charge of insulting the regime!! Farouk stayed in jail 5 months and half, when he was released he was sick; he began to suffer from heart diseases and after awhile his heart stopped beating
His youngest son Youssef tried to stay away from the politics, yet with no luck because the curse followed him, he was graduated from the wireless institute and worked in one of the national companies, but he did not stay long in his job because one of the relatives of “Shams Badran” made a fight with him, a presidential decree with an order to fire Youssef, who did not find any job except working ……….as a Taxi driver!!
Can you imagine a president’s son working on a Taxi driver?? and he did not even own the car , except when he had a chance to be a driver in the “Arab contractors” company ,then he bought his own car where he worked in the morning as a company driver and noon as a cab driver !!
I don’t need to tell you that the other Egyptian presidents’ sons and daughters are all wealthy, very wealthy, high classy people whose children and grand children are graduated from American University
You will be surprised more if I told you that President Mohamed Naguib sent two letters for Nasser and his playboy
Amar in 1956 asking them to let him go and fight the British in the Canal, he would go with a fake name under 24/7 surveillance for he wanted to die in honor in the field and if he was alive after the war, he would go immediately again to his exile prison
These letters which received no respond was sent on the 5th of November except insults and attacks from the guards of prison exile villa!! You can find a copy from the letters sent to those jerks and if you can read Arabic, please read it, well it made me want to cry because I felt the man who wrote it was so great and honorable
The General used to raise cats and dogs to find them more faithful than humans, in deed they are, the wild beasts in the forests do not betray each other, ironically when we like to call someone a bad name we call him or her an animal!!
President Naguib isolation or exile ended in the time of President Anwar El-Sadaat in year 1972, after all those years he was set free, already President Sadaat knew Naguib before the revolution when Sadaat was arresting for spying for the Germans in WWII “oh yes President Sadaat was a Nazi spy”
President Mohamed Naguib died in year 1984 and he had a presidential military funeral attended by President Mubarak, and as a modest respect to him a Metro station was named after him
his memories were published after his death in the same year in Cairo under the name “I was president of Egypt”, the book was huge success that the Printing house “The Egyptian Modern House” re-printed from the book 8 editions the
last one in year 2003 , the book was like a shock , already it is very sad , when you read it you feel that you are reading for a man with a high dignity ,a politician with a vision , do not be surprised because in his exile President Naguib read books in all kind of things you can imagine , he even learnt languages ,several languages including Hebrew in which he requested to be taught in the Egyptian Universities , already President Naguib was the one who made it to be taught in the war school . The General used to speak English, French and Italian not to mention he had a PHD in the Political Economics, for sure he is a very from rare kind of army officers, he was really an example for a civilian in a suite.
Ironically when I see it and think about it, I believe that President Mohamed Naguib was the first Ex-President of Egypt, a very strange title I am not used to write it down because we only have late presidents and I guess it is an honor for him
The General did not care only for Egypt but also cared for Sudan not because his roots in his mother side, but for a political strategic point, he considered Sudan very important to Egypt , in a way that reminds me with the vision of Mohamed Ali Pasha ,the Unity of the valley of the Nile both men were
correct , this is the southern gate of Egypt , you only have to read about what is going on in the Sudan and now and you will know that it is a matter of time when you find an international force on your southern borders
President Naguib in the introduction of the book said that he never imagined that he was going to live and write this introduction, and that this book would live longer than he lived and would say more that he said, already the man did not say anything
I tell you something this man ,Mohamed Naguib ,lived longer than most of the RCC members , in fact as an Egyptian I tell you that God gave him the long life to see the divine revenge in all of those who humiliated him whether Nasser “I do not give a damn for the Nasserites” ,Amar , Mohi El-Din and the Salam Brothers, in fact I read that he went to visit Gamal Salam who was dying from a certain disease , Salam told him to forgive him for what they had done to him ,they were led by the devil , I don’t know if he meant by the devil Nasser or their own greed or what !!??
I got a strange in my mind why the people suddenly forgot this man; it is not a ruler’s decision, more about how he
was suddenly forgotten, people do not fall from the public memory like this , I mean this man had a huge popularity in the Egyptian street more can you imagine in time with no spread of media ,in time there was no socialist union nor NDP , I believe the Egyptian people also share part of the guilt , for being silence , for being ready to forget those men who gave themselves in order to let them have a better future
President Naguib wrote his memories in a hope that the future generations would re-write the right history of Egypt, unfortunately we are still worshiping the same false idols, last month I was attacked and still am under attack because I am calling for an official statement from the intelligence regarding Ashraf Marwan and some come and tell me how can I suspect in Gamal Abd El-Nasser’s son in law cursing me!!
If we really love our country we must re-write the history correctly with no bias, the only bias we must have is to the country
May Allah bless the soul of Mohamed Naguib and reward for his patience in the test he lived from hardness, still the believer test is always the hardest
For Further reading about the late president, I recommend his own memories “I was a president of Egypt”, unfortunately I can not find it in the website of the Egyptian Modern house now still there is another book published by the same publishing house that is “I was witness of Mohamed Naguib’s era” by Ambassador Ryad Sami who was his secretary and also it is a shocking book, unfortunately all these books are in Arabic ,you can contact the publishing house through the phone or the email
Again I searched Amazon only books with a chapter about him are available and this is not fair
Here are some extra photos I scanned from his book including one in his last days , very rare
And as a little present from the British Pathe Archive I found this Italian Newsreel about the General and his sons , you can download it here from my box
2638_26.wmv
you can see the general speaks Italian
again here are my resources this time :
1. I was a president of Egypt by Mohamed Naguib ,published in September 1984
2. A Witness on President Naguib’s era by Ambassador Ryad Sami
and I hope that from those two posts you will know there were real Egyptian generals who wanted democracy ,also I am happy other people remembered him this year
