To the leader of the free of world : Barack Obama
A letter from a Palestinian Child to the US President
This is a letter from a Palestinian Child who does not have clear definition for terms like “terrorism” and “peace”.
I am sure the Palestinian children like Gamila, Louai and Samar have similar letters to President Obama.
Please spread this letter to president Obama.
This letter encouraged me to send a message to President Obama:
Dear President Obama as you are working to close the Guantanamo Bay detention camp ,I only ask you that the United States would stop exporting incendiary weapons to Israel like the DIME , I do not ask you to stop supporting Israel whether by money or by arms despite I know in this critical time in the American history each penny from the tax payers money the American citizen deserves now more than ever, more than Israel and more than Egypt and Pakistan.
President Obama you are father for two beautiful little girls and I believe you know how it feels when you know that your child is hurt, thousands of Palestinian children have been hurt by weapons like the DIME and WP in which former President Bush made sure to supply Israel with. You correct his mistakes , please correct this mistake
If you do this sir and order that no incendiary weapons will be exported to Israel because they use it against civilians ,then be sure sir that you won’t need thousands interviews like Al Arabiya to send a message to the Arab and Muslim world saying that the American people are not our enemy.
Mr.President you are not our enemy but all what we ask that you would be a fair friend to us as you are to the Israelis.
Dr. Abdel Wahab El-Messiri , a great thinker whom I doubt that a single post can give him the respect he deserves. This man is world known academically but I do not think that he was well publicly like Fukuyama , yeah I believe that he is like him and even better and greater. He died last Thursday after long time illness.
Dr. Abdel Wahab public fame came with the publishing of his controversial book/ encyclopedia that he spent 20 years in writing it “The encyclopedia of Jews,Judaism and Zionism”.
This encyclopedia caused him a lot fame and a lot trouble as we will see later
Dr. Abdel Wahab El-Messiri was born in 1938 in Damanhur , North Delta. He was graduated from Alexandria University in the faculty of Arts in the English section in year 1955. He travelled to the U.S in 1963 and took his master degree from Columbia University , then he took the PhD from Rutgers University in year 1969. When he turned to Egypt he began to teach in several universities like in Ain Shams in Cairo and king Soud in Saudi Arabia . He also
was a visiting professor in several Universities and academies like Nasser Military academy. From 1975 till 1979 he worked as the Cultural councillor for the Arab league delegation in the UN .
As I said the most famous work for Dr. Abdel Wahab was his controversial encyclopedia of Jews , Judaism and Zionism , the work that cost him 20 years from his life and also false of accusation of anti-Semitism and even sometimes his own personal safety. This book I believe is the most comprehensive encyclopedia written about Judaism and Zionism since I do not know when.
Already that some of you will think that because the author and researcher is a Muslim Egyptian ,he would be biased against the Jewish people , well think again because this encyclopedia is the most objective in my opinion about the Jews because he did not consider them the enemy. I mean you do not spend 20 years from your life writing such important reference in 8 big volumes with more than 3239 pages in an academic scientific way to promote a specific idea. Dr. Abdel Wahab wrote that book to find the truth and believe I read parts from this big reference I felt that this clear many myths about Jews , Judaism and Zionism . Every thing you can imagine about Jews is in this encyclopedia .
You want a proof , ok what about if I told you that he did not believe in the Protocols of elders of Zion” !!?? Dr. Abdel Wahab said in his book “The secret Hand : A Study in the violent and secret Jewish movements “ that it was based upon a brochure published in France in 1864 under the name of The Dialogue in Hell Between Machiavelli and
Montesquieu “You can read the original text whether in French or English here “
Dr. Abdel Wahab wrote also for Children nice Arabic stories. He began to write them in 1960s for his daughter.
He was a leftist still he defended Islam and Arab Nationalism like no other , in fact I believe he was more Islamist in his thinking in the last years.
Dr. Abdel Wahab was not only a researcher and expert in Israeli and Jewish stuff , he was also a great patriot man who fought dictatorship as much as he can.
He was from the people who stood against the regime in that last couple of year and when he died he was already the coordinator of Kafya , the famous Egyptian movement. It was enough to see him in the protests despite his old age and his illness. It was very sad scene to see the anti-riots officers surrounding him in the protests as if he were thug !!
This is a short bio for Dr. Al Messiri.
Here are something interesting short facts about him :
- He hates Barbie dolls and love chubby childish cotton dolls.
- The state refused to treat him on the expenses of the state in the U.S and he was treated on a Saudi Prince Expenses !!??
- He died at 5 AM Cairo local in Cairo at “Palestine Hospital”
I want to say in the end something that a person can die but his thoughts can live forever

41 years had passed yesterday on the Six Days war which changed the face of the middle East till this moment. Most of the Arab world is still suffering from it except Egypt. Egypt made it and recovered from it somehow but not some how the Egyptian Regime did not learn from the mistakes of the past in order to aviod the defeat we suffered from. Our army is stronger than hopefully from that old one in 1967. But on the political level we are still suffering from the same old disase that caused the defeat which is false Idol.
Anyhow this year marks the 60 anniversiary of losing Palestine to Israel and the 41 anniversiary of its complete disappearance.
Yesterday was the 5th of June , this is a quite sad date for many Egyptians who losts their sons , husbands and brothers in the War , knowing nothing about their fate in what is known the famous the Egyptian POWs case.
Please remember on this hot day thousands of Egyptian young men who were protected by the international laws and treaties were killed by the IDF in Gaza and in Sinai in another holocaust the world would witness and be silent on it.
Our defeat was erased by our victory but our right is not completely restored .
All I am asking is that when you read a book about the Six Days war , please remember the Egyptian side of the story that it was a war without a fight thanks to a commandership in Cairo busy with its own struggle on power and rule , please remember that thousands were killed in War crimes , all what they did was that they were from the Egyptian army that should be destroyed.
A red rose on that day to all those great men who gave their lives to Egypt
This is a long, very long post and I am sorry I can not summarize it
“I though they were free but they turned to be evil”
Mohamed Naguib, the first president of Egypt in his memories first published in 1984
The First Egyptian President on the Time's cover
The cover story of the Time edition on the 8th of September 1956
Only one man made me respect the coup of 1952, only one man made me re-think again about the 6 principals of that coup that turned in to revolution
Only one man made me believe that they are not bad and they can be great if they were implemented in the correct way
Only one man made me hate the revolution
That man was the first Egyptian President General Mohamed Naguib
For years many Egyptians believed that the First Egyptian President to Rule Egypt since the time of Pharaohs was
Gamal Abd El-Nasser thanks to the orders that were given to erase the name of that man from the Egyptian history, not even from the history books but also everything related to his short era, even songs, Laila Muard had that song she sang in the Egyptian Radio after the coup, strangely she did not mention anything related to Naguib, we were still away from the “President-Cult” ,still that song was suddenly disappeared after the departure of Naguib
They thought that they can really control the history; alias history always reveals the truth in the end
For those who don’t know Mohamed Naguib was used by the Gamal Abd El-Nasser and the rest of the free officers, they used the General as a front, no one in Egypt knew them but many knew the General and respected him very much
Already from a logic point of view no one in Egypt would trust a bunch of young men who want to take charge of the country and that was why Naguib was the perfect man
Another interesting point I believe they took an advantage of the origin of President Naguib, whose father was an Egyptian and his mother was a Sudanese, the perfect match or a mix for the next ruler for Egypt and Sudan, do not forget even after the revolution we were still having that blessed union between Egypt and Sudan, the Union that was over in 1954 just after the general’s departure from rule to the exile
President Naguib is a patriot man, no one can deny this, very patriot and that’s why he accepted to join those daring young men in their quest, the man believed in their quest, any patriot who believes in his country and wants the best for it will do so. President Naguib accepted to lead those young men despite the danger of the failure, Naguib would be the first one to be hanged if that coup failed and believe or not the biggest surprise of that coup was that it succeeded.
If you want a proof about the patriotism of that great man, you will only have to know why he was sent in exile to suffer till the end of his life
The Crisis of 1954
From the six principal; there is a golden principal Egyptians only read about in history books still it was never achieved, there was a chance they missed it in achieving it, may be if they understood the real game that was going on back then, they would never have left it and may be, may be our conditions now were different
That Principal is “To establish a correct constitutional and democratic life”
Anyhow here is the story in simple summarized words
President Naguib became the first president when the republic was announced on the 18th of June 1953, he was not only the President but also the prime minister and the chairman of the Revolution council commandership, Nasser was his deputy. President Naguib seemed since year 1953 had a different vision than the young officers
"at the age of 36, Abdel-Nasser felt that we could ignore Egyptian public opinion until we had reached our goals, but with the caution of a 53-year-old, I believed that we needed grassroots support for our policies, even if it meant postponing some of our goals. I differed with the younger officers on the means by which to reach our goals, never on the principles."
President Naguib in his memories published in Cairo year 1984 under the title “I was a president for Egypt”
Naguib wanted to implement the principal of having a correct and healthy constitutional democratic life through the
only possible way to achieve it by having a real civilian political life, the army should withdraw from the political life going back to its military bases, he believed in the constitutional political multi party system and he wanted the party system in Egypt which was corrupted before the revolution to be mended so it can be healthy again, so the parties can really represent the people
Now you can understand how this man was a real Patriot and how he had a correct vision, President Naguib in his vision and view reminds me with what happened in Mauritania from the democratic coup that took place, seriously we had our own Ould Vall but fate did not give him a chance because there was Nasser
Most historians who justify what Nasser did in 1954 say that Nasser was afraid from the return of the corrupted parties like El-Wafad, who no one can deny that figures like Fouad Serg El-Din gave an excuse for Nasser to hate democracy, of course I will not defend Fouad Serg El-Din but after all the man seems to do nothing compared to the men in the NDP now, also they said that Nasser also did not want the Muslim Brotherhood to be a political party and gain more power , it sounds familiar ,well my dear friend that was the origin of the war between the regime and the MB
Anyhow back to Naguib and Nasser, the gap between the two had widen more and more, unfortunately Nasser had
the majority of the RCC in his pocket, after all most of them were young men who had no experience in the real politics “at least that what days would prove” where as Naguib had no allies except the cavalry or who used to be known as the Khalid Mohi El-Din red group, and old politicians who were usually accused to be corrupted by the RCC yet I believe they were respectable men
On 25th of February 1954, the Egyptian people suddenly woke up to find an announcement in the Radio from the RCC stating that President Naguib resigned from his position because the RCC refused to give him “absolute POWER” !!
On that day Nasser knew that General Naguib was much popular than he thought as people went to the street that demanding that the “father of the Egyptian” return to his office,I already know that in Port Said the boys main high school had seen a strike from the boys who gathered in one of the class room refusing to let anyone in except when President Mohamed Naguib would return back to his office , they were only 15 years old boys "check the film I posted below and see how the people acted"
President Naguib was a very popular simple regular man, the kind of man who goes and visits peasants as soon as a catastrophe happens, just read this news from the archives of the Time magazine and you will understand what I am talking about
I believe on that day Nasser realized the power of the Egyptian people that made Naguib return back to his office, of course that was not the end, it was a round, a round for Naguib, I think since that day Nasser decided that the main power that should be in his side was the people, he underestimated the popular appeal of President Naguib something anyone can realize and something the Time magazine hinted to, it was obvious that Nasser did not include the people in his calculation back then
From February to November 1954 there was a huge war between the two men , a war its signs should have warned the people that Nasser hated so much democracy and anyone who had a different opinion than his , if just the people were much more careful,I swear our future would have been different, there were signs that sent alarm signals no one cared for it just like the case of Aboul Fath brothers and their newspaper “El-Masry” {The Egyptian} Nasser made adjustments in the RCC and the cabinet to limit Naguib’s influence and Naguib understood that it was a matter of time and it was in fact a matter of months
When Nasser found a good story to justify the elimination of Naguib for ever, with no further introductions he claimed that President Naguib made an agreement with the MB to kill him and that the MB members who were arrested said so !!
Why I can not believe this historical crap, may be because till now we are hearing about the MB confessions day and night
On 14th of November 1954, two army officers twice came to the office of Naguib telling him it was over and for his dignity the man resigned and was isolated by the orders of Gamal Abd El-Nasser for definite reason in a villa owned by famous Zeinab El-Waikal, the wife of Mustafa An-Nahas Pasha in the suburbs, strangely did not know that then, or even knew where he suddenly disappeared
Since then President Naguib began a trip of suffering and humiliation I can find any justification from it except that Nasser was really scared from that man, so scared from him and that was why he worked very hard to burry that man alive, do not ask me why he had not ordered his secret service to kill the man and already he had done so with King Farouk , but may be God made him forget this ,blind enough to let the General live even more than Nasser in order to write down his memories and Share with us the truth
I will stop here but this in not the end insh Allah tomorrow I will continue because the world needs to know how that man suffered a lot
For Further reading about the late president
I only found nothing about him in Amazon only chapters in other books; I wish someone would be generous enough to translate his memories
Here is a PDF from an article from Life Magazine back to August 1952 I found scanned on the net "sorry for the big size"
Binder1.pdf
Here is also Laila Muard patriotic anthem; I don’t know why on earth they banned it!!??

We are all speaking about the Egyptian and Syrian losses in the six days war 40th anniversary and forgetting the most important loss of all in that war Jerusalem ,old Jerusalem , for this I decided not to speak about our failure to protect the holy city again but instead I decided to share with you something I found from quite a time and I think it is great
The Panoramic inside view of Al-Aqsa Mosque , the furthermost Mosque, the third holiest Place for the Muslims where they should Pilgrim to
Most people don't know how the mosque looks from inside , already they are confused the Mosque , the Dome of the rock , the famous trick move one of my Christian friend made me realize from several years that the Israelis intended to make us forget about the real Mosque ,concentrate on the Dome of the rock as if it were Al-Aqsa Mosque at least for the young generations
Anyhow here is a link from the Visual Dhikr graphics company please enjoy the virtual trip because it is so beautiful and great
Also don't forget not to share as many people as you can , this is not a Muslim thing , more a curious thing to know more about the reasons of the conflict , on what there is a big fight
There is no much talk about what had happened in the Syrian front during the six days war
Here are some quick notes about some interesting facts that may help us understand what really had happened there[1]
· 65% - 80% of the Syrian GPD /national income were specialized for the ministry of Defense before the six days war for two reasons for defense and for the liberation of Palestine from its Zionist invaders.
· Syria was under the rule of Salah Jadid
· The budget of the Syrian army was more than the national income.
· The Baath party in the pre-war time was working according the slogan “The Liberation of Palestine through Jordan”[2]
· An Arab common military leadership was formed between Egypt, Syria and Jordan under the leadership of Commander “Ali Amar”[3]
· The Baath radio Station used during the pre-war time to air some silly provoking song called “The river Jordan won’t be redirect “ sang by a Singer who disappeared later name “Lodi”[4] especially in the year 1966 according to the orders of Major “Fares El-Hatom” who headed the special units which guarded the Syrian radio .
· In April or May 1967 the Students union in the city of “Homs” organized a lecture attended by hundreds of students in “Opera” cinema theatre, the speaker guest was “Mustafa El-Talas” Lt. Cl. Then who gave a huge presentation that gave the audience an idea of the Syrian and Egyptian military plan to liberate Palestine with a big map and a commander stick [5] saying that [6]
“We will move with our forces to the south to destroy the Palace of “El-Raga’ia” first then on the second day we will move to the west and during those two days the Egyptian forces will have passed Sinai and advance to Palestinian coast, and on the third day will close the mouth of the pincher on the Jews and then we will ….
The audience screamed in great enthusiasm that can’t be described
“… To the Sea”
· The attack on Syria on the 5th of June started with an IAF raids over the Syrian airports and air bases after finishing from the Egyptian front ,the attack started about 10 AM Damascus Local time, the same plan in Egypt to target the airports, airbases and air crafts on the ground
· The IAF air crafts were mainly from the French Mirage fighters.
· They destroyed the “Maza” airport which is near to the Damascus university where the Students were having their second term exams and saw at the same time the battles between the IAF and SAF
· The IAF destroyed the runways in the “Maza” airport
· Despite the attack of the IAF yet the Syrian Air forces defended as they were already on alert due to what happened earlier in Egypt
· The Syrian anti-shell fires succeeded in target one Israeli Air craft which was burned and its pilot was inside it that the piece of the air craft was brought to the students in the university were they saw the burning flash parts of the pilot[7]
· The SAF despite the destruction of all of its runways and air bases across the country managed to destroy the Oil refines and depots in “Haifa” in north Israel at 12 AM, that was the only Arabic air forces counter attack or in better word actual share in that war because simply most air crafts were destroyed on ground without a fight.
· Just like EAF ,the SAF was destroyed on the first day of the war 1967
· Israel managed to reach to the East side of the Suez Canal on the third day of the war which was the 7th of June 1967 ,on the fourth day which was the 8th of June 1967 the IDF was busy on the Jordanian front and his fight with the PLO and the Jordanian army , mainly the PLO
· On the 4th day the IDF managed to invade Jerusalem and reached to the east shore of the River Jordan
· On the 5th and 6th days of the way the IDF transferred to the Syrian front to complete its plan to invade the Golan heights
· The total Syrian losses in the war as announced back then were 120 soldiers!![8]
· On the 13th of September 1967 Egypt, Syria and Jordan signed the Common defense agreement
[1] The main source is an online essays that were written by the Syrian writers “Khalid El-Ahmed”, ”Grace El-Hams”
[2] I think the Syrian-Jordanian relations were so bad then, in fact it was never that good even now.
[3] I think he was a relative!!
[4] I don’t know much about this lady but there were historical rumors that she had some affair with officer “Fares El-Hatom” who headed a coup that failed in 1966 and fled away to Jordan after its failure ,some Say that El-Assad played an important role in that coup , she is considered till now from the pro-Baath singers
[5] I thought that these plans are confidential not to be announced and explained in cinema theaters near you!!
[6] According to eye witness who had attended the event
[7] I may be able to find his name in the Israeli forces.
[8] This is one small number , they were damn lucky ,so lucky
I would like you please to visit the following link , it is about yesterday session about the POWs in the assembly it is very important and I though it would be better to post originally in the POWs website, the foreign minister of Egypt lost his temper there
Please visit it because it is important and I want to ask you about the new design , it is not that different from the old one but I made by myself in the Photoshop

Abd El-Monaim is active blogger and journalist who is only guilt is that he belongs to the MB and because he is active person who believes in freedom and exposing dictatorship he is now in jail for now definite reason
Please check this post by Alaa about him and I recommend following the case from Alaa's website because the coverage is better
There are already international campaigns and buzz abroad for him with calls for President Mubarak to release the young man whose father died without see him
The Human rights watch spoke about and also the reporters without frontiers but it seems the Egyptian regime is deaf concerning these calls!!
This young gentle man is not less than Abd El-Karim Soliman whom the protests around the globe supported , I don't compare between them but I say this is gentle man deserves protests to held for him in sake of freedom of opinion if you really believe in it
Yesterday Israel celebrated the Yom HaShoah "The Remembrance day for the Holocaust and Heroism".
I have nothing this and I am not from the camp that dedicated his or her to suspect that the Holocaust took place despite the fact I do believe it took place but in less number
Anyhow I wonder when we will have our "Yom Hashoah" in Egypt to remember the Holocaust victims of Egyptian POWs in 1967 , oh yes we had our own holocaust back in 1967
In Al-Arish and in Gaza cities as places
Egyptian POWs as the victims
and those who celebrated the Yom HaShoah yesterday the 16th of April as the victimizers
Please read this part from the POWs website and remember our officers and Soldiers who were burned alive and till now got now museum or a special day for remembrance
